गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow

आर्यरूपसमाचारं चरन्तं कृतके पथि । सुवर्णमन्यवर्ण वा स्वशीलं शास्ति निश्चये,जो कृत्रिम मार्गका आश्रय लेकर श्रेष्ठ पुरुषोंक अनुरूप आचरण करता है, वह सोना है या काँच--शुद्ध वर्णका है या संकर वर्णका? इसका निश्चय करते समय उसका स्वभाव ही सब कुछ बता देता है

āryarūpasamācāraṃ carantaṃ kṛtake pathi | suvarṇam anyavarṇaṃ vā svaśīlaṃ śāsti niścaye ||

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—కృత్రిమ మార్గాన్ని ఆశ్రయించి ఆర్యుల వలె ఆచారాన్ని అనుసరించువాడు బంగారమా లేక గాజా—శుద్ధ వర్ణమా లేక సంకర వర్ణమా? ఈ సందేహానికి తీర్పు చెప్పేది అతని స్వభావమే, నిశ్చయంగా.
