Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
भूतानामिह सर्वेषां दुः:खोपहतचेतसाम् | गतिमन्वेषमाणानां न गड़ासदृशी गति:,इस संसारमें दुःखसे व्याकुलचित होकर अपने लिये कोई आश्रय ढूँढ़नेवाले समस्त प्राणियोंके लिये गंगाजीके समान कोई दूसरा सहारा नहीं है
bhūtānām iha sarveṣāṁ duḥkhopahatacetasām | gatim anveṣamāṇānāṁ na gaṅgāsadṛśī gatiḥ ||
ఈ లోకంలో దుఃఖంతో కలతచెందిన మనస్సుతో ఆశ్రయం, మార్గం వెదుక్కుంటున్న సమస్త ప్రాణులకు గంగతో సమానమైన గతి మరొకటి లేదు।
