धर्मराजो हि शुद्धात्मा निदेशे स्थास्यते तव । आनृशंस्यपरं होनं जानामि गुरुवत्सलम्
dharmarājo hi śuddhātmā nideśe sthāsyate tava | ānṛśaṁsyaparaṁ hīnaṁ jānāmi guruvatsalam ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ధర్మరాజ యుధిష్ఠిరుడు శుద్ధాంతఃకరణుడు; నీ ఆజ్ఞలోనే నిలిచి ఉంటాడు. నేను అతనిని బాగా తెలుసు—అతడు కరుణను పరమంగా భావించేవాడు, క్రూరత లేనివాడు, గురువుల పట్ల అపార భక్తి కలవాడు.
