यथा पाण्डो: सुता राज॑स्तथैव तव धर्मत: । तान् पालय स्थितो धर्मे गुरुशुश्रूषणे रतान्
yathā pāṇḍoḥ sutā rājas tathaiva tava dharmataḥ | tān pālaya sthito dharme guruśuśrūṣaṇe ratān |
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఓ రాజా, వారు పాండువుని కుమారులైనట్లే, ధర్మదృష్ట్యా నీ కుమారులే. వారు ఎల్లప్పుడూ గురువుల సేవలో నిమగ్నులై ఉంటారు; కాబట్టి నీవు ధర్మంలో స్థిరంగా ఉండి, వారిని నీ స్వంత కుమారులవలె పరిరక్షించి పోషించు.
