ब्राह्मणप्रतिपूजायामायु: कीर्तिययशो बलम् । लोका लोकेश्चराश्वैव सर्वे ब्राह्मणपूजका:
brāhmaṇa-pratipūjāyām āyuḥ kīrtir yaśo balam | lokā lokeśvarāś caiva sarve brāhmaṇa-pūjakāḥ |
వాయుదేవుడు పలికెను—బ్రాహ్మణులను యథావిధిగా గౌరవించి పూజించుటవలన ఆయుష్షు, కీర్తి, యశస్సు, బలము లభించును. సమస్త లోకములు మరియు లోకాధిపతులైన దేవతలుకూడా బ్రాహ్మణపూజకులే.
