Shloka 25

तथा वज्ञेण भगवानमर्षाकुललोचन: । तमापततन्तं दृष्टवैव च्यवनस्तपसान्वित:

tathā vajreṇa bhagavānamarṣākulalocanaḥ | tam āpatatantaṃ dṛṣṭvaiva cyavanas tapasānvitāḥ ||

అప్పుడు కోపంతో ఎర్రబడిన కన్నులతో భగవానుడు ఇంద్రుడు వజ్రంతో దాడి చేశాడు. తనపై దూసుకొస్తున్న అతనిని చూసి, తపోబలంతో బలపడిన చ్యవనుడు ఎదురుదాడికి సిద్ధంగా నిలిచాడు।
