Shloka 23

वायुरुवाच तत: कर्म समारब्ध॑ हिताय सहसाश्रिनो: । च्यवनेन ततो मन्त्रैरभिभूता: सुरा3भवन्‌,वायुदेवता कहते हैं--तदनन्तर च्यवन मुनिने अश्विनीकुमारोंके हितके लिये सहसा यज्ञ आरम्भ किया। उनके मन्त्रबलसे समस्त देवता प्रभावित हो गये

vāyur uvāca tataḥ karma samārabdhaṃ hitāya sahasāśvinoḥ | cyavanena tato mantrair abhibhūtāḥ surā abhavan ||

వాయువు అన్నాడు—ఆ తరువాత అశ్వినీద్వయ హితార్థం చ్యవనముని అకస్మాత్తుగా యజ్ఞకర్మను ప్రారంభించాడు. అతని మంత్రబలంతో దేవతలందరూ వశమయ్యారు.
