श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच (एतत्ते कथयिष्यामि यत्ते देवि मन:प्रियम् । शृणु तत् सर्वमखिलं धर्म वर्णाश्रमाश्रितम् ।।
śrīmaheśvara uvāca |
etatte kathayiṣyāmi yatte devi manaḥ-priyam |
śṛṇu tat sarvamakhilaṁ dharmaṁ varṇāśramāśritam ||
శ్రీ మహేశ్వరుడు పలికెను—దేవి! నీ మనసుకు ప్రియమైన ఈ ధర్మవిషయాన్ని నేను నీకు చెప్పుదును. వర్ణాశ్రమాలపై ఆధారపడిన సమస్త ధర్మాన్ని సంపూర్ణంగా వినుము.
