Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)

उमां शर्वस्तदा दृष्ट्वा स्त्री भावगतमार्दवाम्‌ । पितुर्देन्यमनिच्छन्ती प्रीत्यापश्यत्‌ तदा गिरिम्‌

umāṁ śarvas tadā dṛṣṭvā strī-bhāva-gata-mārdavām | pitur dainyam anicchantī prītyāpaśyat tadā girim ||

ఆ సమయంలో ఉమా స్త్రీ-స్వభావసిద్ధమైన కోమలతతో ద్రవించినదాన్ని చూసి శర్వుడు—ఆమె తండ్రి దయనీయ స్థితిని చూడదలచలేదని గ్రహించాడు. అప్పుడు భగవాన్ శంకరుడు ప్రసన్నమైన అనుగ్రహదృష్టితో హిమవాన్ పర్వతం వైపు చూచాడు.
