विभूषितं पुण्यपवित्रतोयया सदा च जुष्टं नृप जह्लुकन्यया । विभूषितं धर्मभृतां वरिष्ठै- महात्मभिव॑द्लिसमानकल्पै:

Transliteration

vibhūṣitaṃ puṇyapavitratoyayā sadā ca juṣṭaṃ nṛpa jahlukanyayā | vibhūṣitaṃ dharmabhṛtāṃ variṣṭhair mahātmabhir adlisamānakalpaiḥ ||

Translation

వాసుదేవుడు పలికెను—నరేశ్వరా! ఆ స్థలం పుణ్యపవిత్ర జలములతో అలంకృతమై ఉండెను; జహ్నువు కుమార్తె అయిన జాహ్నవీ నది, ప్రేమతో ఆస్వాదించునట్లు, నిత్యము అక్కడ సంచరించుచుండెను. ధర్మధారులలో అగ్రగణ్యులైన, అగ్నిసమాన తేజస్సు గల అనేక మహాత్ములచేత ఆ ఆశ్రమప్రదేశము మరింత శోభిల్లెను. ఈ విధముగా పుణ్యసలిల జాహ్నవీ ఆ పవిత్ర ప్రాంతపు కాంతిని నిరంతరం వర్ధింపజేసెను।
