मन्त्रेणैतेनाभिवन्देत यो वै विमुच्यते पापकृतेन कर्मणा । लोकानवाप्रोति पुरंदरस्य गवां फलं चन्द्रमसो झ्युतिं च
mantrenaitenābhivandeta yo vai vimucyate pāpakṛtena karmaṇā | lokān avāpnoti purandarasya gavāṁ phalaṁ candramaso jyutiṁ ca ||
విశ్వామిత్రుడు అన్నాడు—ఈ మంత్రంతో గోవులకు అభివందనం చేసే వాడు పాపకర్మల నుండి విముక్తుడవుతాడు. గోసేవ ఫలంగా అతడు పురందరుడు (ఇంద్రుడు) యొక్క లోకాలను పొందుతాడు; చంద్రుని వంటి కాంతిని కూడా పొందుతాడు.
