अस्माकं परितोषश्न अक्षय: परिकीरत्त्यते | इस तरह निष्कपट भावसे किया हुआ दान अक्षय एवं महान् फलदायक होता है और उससे हमें भी अक्षय संतोष प्राप्त होता है--ऐसा शास्त्रका कथन है ।।
śakra uvāca | asmākaṃ paritoṣaś ca akṣayaḥ parikīrtyate | śraddadhānāś ca ye martyā āhariṣyanti santatim ||
శక్రుడు అన్నాడు—మా సంతృప్తి కూడా అక్షయమని ప్రకటించబడింది. కనుక కపటరహితమైన శుద్ధహృదయంతో చేసిన దానం అక్షయమై మహాఫలప్రదమవుతుంది; దాని వల్ల మాకూ అనంత సంతోషం లభిస్తుంది—ఇది శాస్త్రవచనం. మరియు శ్రద్ధతో దానం చేసే మానవులు చిరస్థాయిగా సంతానపరంపరను పొందుతారు.
