भीष्म उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजन्‌ धर्मगुह्दानि भारत । यथा हि भगवान्‌ व्यास: पुरा कथितवान्‌ मयि

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan dharma-gūḍhāni bhārata | yathā hi bhagavān vyāsaḥ purā kathitavān mayi ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను— రాజా, భారతవంశనందనా! అవధానముతో వినుము. పూర్వము భగవాన్ వ్యాసుడు నాకు చెప్పినట్లే, ధర్మమునకు సంబంధించిన గూఢ రహస్యములను నేను వివరిస్తాను.
