गुरुणा चैव निर्बन्धो न कर्तव्य: कदाचन । अनुमान्य: प्रसाद्यश्न गुरु: क्रुद्धो युधिष्ठिर

Transliteration

guruṇā caiva nirbandho na kartavyaḥ kadācana | anumānyaḥ prasādyāśna guruḥ kruddho yudhiṣṭhira ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—యుధిష్ఠిరా, గురువుతో ఎప్పుడూ హఠం గానీ వాదం గానీ చేయకూడదు; గురువు కోపించినా ఆయనను గౌరవించి, ప్రసన్నం చేసి, సమాధాన మార్గమే అనుసరించవలెను.
