Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity
अड््गुष्ठस्य च यन्मध्यं प्रदेशिन्याश्व॒ भारत । तेन पित्र्याणि कुर्वीत स्पृष्टवापो न्न्यायत: सदा
aṅguṣṭhasya ca yan madhyaṃ pradeśinyāś ca bhārata | tena pitryāṇi kurvīta spṛṣṭvāpo nyāyataḥ sadā bhārata ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఓ భారతా! బొటనవేలు మరియు చూపుడువేలు మధ్యభాగాన్ని ‘పితృతీర్థం’ అంటారు. ఆ స్థానం ద్వారా శాస్త్రవిధిగా నీటిని గ్రహించి ఎల్లప్పుడూ పితృకార్యాలను చేయాలి.
