भीष्म उवाच इति भूमेर्वच: श्रुत्वा वासुदेव: प्रतापवान्‌ । तथा चकार सतत त्वमप्येवं सदाचर

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | iti bhūmervacaḥ śrutvā vāsudevaḥ pratāpavān | tathā cakāra satataṃ tvam apy evaṃ sadācara ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు అన్నాడు— ఓ యుధిష్ఠిరా! భూదేవి పలికిన ఈ మాటలు విని ప్రతాపవంతుడైన వాసుదేవుడు (శ్రీకృష్ణుడు) అలాగే చేసి, నిరంతరం విధివిధానంగా గృహస్థధర్మాలను ఆచరించాడు. నీవు కూడా ఎల్లప్పుడూ ఇదే విధంగా ఆ ధర్మాలను ఆచరించు.
