तथेति सा यदा तूक्ता तदा भरतसत्तम | प्रहर्षमतुलं लेभे प्राप्य तं पार्थिवोत्तमम्‌,भरतश्रेष्ठ] उस समय बहुत अच्छा कहकर राजाने जब उसकी शर्त मान ली, तब उन नृपश्रेष्ठको पतिरूपमें प्राप्त करके उस देवीको अनुपम आनन्द मिला

tatheti sā yadā tūktā tadā bharatasattama | praharṣam atulaṃ lebhe prāpya taṃ pārthivottamam ||

వైశంపాయనుడు చెప్పెను—ఆమె అలా పలికినప్పుడు, భరతశ్రేష్ఠుడైన రాజు “తథాస్తు” అని ఆమె షరతును అంగీకరించాడు. అప్పుడు ఆ నృపోత్తముని భర్తగా పొందిన ఆ దేవికి అపార ఆనందం కలిగింది.
