वैशम्पायन उवाच एवमुक्त: प्रत्युवाच पूरु: पितरमञ्जसा । यथा<55त्थ मां महाराज तत्‌ करिष्यामि ते वच:,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--ययातिके ऐसा कहनेपर पूरुने अपने पितासे विनयपूर्वक कहा--“महाराज! आप मुझे जैसा आदेश दे रहे हैं, आपके उस वचनका मैं पालन करूँगा

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca evam uktaḥ pratyuvāca pūruḥ pitaram añjasā | yathāttha māṃ mahārāja tat kariṣyāmi te vacaḥ ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు చెప్పాడు— ఇలా చెప్పబడినప్పుడు పూరుడు సంకోచం లేకుండా తండ్రికి ప్రత్యుత్తరం ఇచ్చాడు— “మహారాజా, మీరు నాకు ఎలా ఆజ్ఞాపించారో, అలాగే మీ వాక్యాన్ని నేను నెరవేర్చుతాను.”
