ययाति-देवयानी-शर्मिष्ठा विवादः — Śukra’s Curse and the Disclosure of Lineage

दृष्टवा काव्यमुवाचेदं सम्भ्रमाविष्टचेतना । आचचक्षे महाप्राज्ञं देवयानीं वने हताम्‌

dṛṣṭvā kāvyam uvācedaṃ sambhramāviṣṭa-cetanā | ācacakṣe mahāprājñaṃ devayānīṃ vane hatām ||

కావ్యుని (శుక్రాచార్యుని) చూచిన వెంటనే, కలవరంతో కదిలిన మనస్సుతో ఆమె ఇలా పలికింది. మహాప్రాజ్ఞుడికి ఆమె తెలియజేసింది—“దేవయానీ వనంలో హతమైంది.”
