ययाति-देवयानी-शर्मिष्ठा विवादः — Śukra’s Curse and the Disclosure of Lineage
तस्य शुक्रस्य कन्याहं स मां नूनं न बुध्यते । देवयानी बोली--जो देवताओंद्वारा मारे गये दैत्योंको अपनी विद्याके बलसे जिलाया करते हैं, उन्हीं शुक्राचार्यकी मैं पुत्री हूँ। निश्चय ही उन्हें इस बातका पता नहीं होगा कि मैं इस दुरवस्थामें पड़ी हूँ
tasya śukrasya kanyāhaṃ sa māṃ nūnaṃ na budhyate |
నేను ఆ శుక్రాచార్యుని కుమార్తెను; నేను ఈ దురవస్థలో పడిన సంగతి ఆయనకు నిశ్చయంగా ఇంకా తెలియదు.
