Śakuntalā-Janma-Nāmakaraṇa (Birth and Naming of Śakuntalā) | शकुन्तला-जन्म-नामकरणम्
त्रयस्त्वज्धिरस: पुत्रा लोके सर्वत्र विश्लुता: । बृहस्पतिरुतथ्यश्न संवर्तश्व॒ धृतव्रता:,अंगिराके तीन पुत्र हुए, जो लोकमें सर्वत्र विख्यात हैं। उनके नाम ये हैं-- बृहस्पति, उतथ्य और संवर्त। ये तीनों ही उत्तम व्रत धारण करनेवाले हैं। मनुजेश्वर! अत्रिके बहुत-से पुत्र सुने जाते हैं। वे सब-के-सब वेदवेत्ता, सिद्ध और शान्तचित्त महर्षि हैं
vaiśampāyana uvāca | trayas tv āṅgirasaḥ putrā loke sarvatra viśrutāḥ | bṛhaspatir utathyaś ca saṃvartaś ca dhṛtavratāḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— అంగిరసుని ముగ్గురు కుమారులు లోకమంతటా ప్రసిద్ధులు— బృహస్పతి, ఉతథ్యుడు, సంవర్తుడు. ఆ ముగ్గురూ ధృఢవ్రతులు.
