Tapovana-praveśaḥ — The King’s Entry into the Sacred Grove and Vision of the Āśrama
एवं वीर्यबलोल्सिक्ति भूरियत्नैर्महासुरै: । पीड्यमाना मही राजन् ब्रह्माणमुपचक्रमे,राजन्! जब इस प्रकार बल और पराक्रमके मदसे उन्मत्त महादैत्य विशेष यत्नपूर्वक इस पृथ्वीको पीड़ा देने लगे, तब यह ब्रह्माजीकी शरणमें जानेको उद्यत हुई
evaṁ vīrya-balolliktaḥ bhūri-yatnaiḥ mahāsuraiḥ | pīḍyamānā mahī rājan brahmāṇam upacakrame ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఓ రాజా! ఈ విధంగా బలమూ పరాక్రమమూ అనే మదముతో ఉన్మత్తులైన మహాసురులు అతి ప్రయత్నముతో భూమిని పీడించసాగిరి; అప్పుడు భూమి బ్రహ్మదేవుని శరణు కోరుటకు బయలుదేరెను।
