Educational Q&A

Public religious acts (like a satra) gain legitimacy and ethical weight when guided by qualified, Veda-trained brāhmaṇas; dharma is upheld through learned oversight and proper ritual order.

Śaunaka describes the assembly at the great sacrificial session associated with Janamejaya (the Pārīkṣita), noting that many Veda-master brāhmaṇas served as official members (sadasyas) of the rite.
