Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)

लोकसंलोडडनं घोर कृतान्तसमदर्शनम्‌ | तमागतमभिप्रेक्ष्य भगवान्‌ कश्यपस्तदा । विदित्वा चास्य संकल्पमिदं वचनमत्रवीत्‌,वे समस्त संसारको भयसे कम्पित किये देते थे। उनकी मूर्ति बड़ी भयंकर थी। वे साक्षात्‌ यमराजके समान दिखायी देते थे। उन्हें आया देख उस समय भगवान्‌ कश्यपने उनका संकल्प जानकर इस प्रकार कहा

lokasaṁloḍḍanaṁ ghoraṁ kṛtāntasamadārśanam | tam āgatam abhiprekṣya bhagavān kaśyapas tadā | viditvā cāsya saṅkalpam idaṁ vacanam abravīt ||

అతడు భయంకరమైన రూపంతో సమస్త లోకాన్ని భయంతో కంపింపజేయగలవాడు; సాక్షాత్తు యముడివలె కనిపించాడు. అతడు వచ్చుచున్నదాన్ని చూచి, భగవాన్ కశ్యపుడు అతని హృదయసంకల్పాన్ని గ్రహించి అప్పుడీ వాక్యాన్ని పలికెను.
