एवं तौ समनुज्ञातौ पावकेन महात्मना । अर्जुनो वासुदेवश्न॒ दानवश्न मयस्तथा,भरतश्रेष्ठ! महात्मा अग्निदेवके इस प्रकार आज्ञा देनेपर अर्जुन, श्रीकृष्ण तथा मयासुर सबने उनकी परिक्रमा की। फिर तीनों ही यमुनानदीके रमणीय तटपर जाकर एक साथ बैठे
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
evaṃ tau samanujñātau pāvakena mahātmanā |
arjuno vāsudevaś ca dānavaś ca mayas tathā ||

భరతశ్రేష్ఠా! మహాత్ముడైన పావకుడు (అగ్ని) ఈ విధంగా అనుమతి ఇచ్చిన తరువాత అర్జునుడు, వాసుదేవుడు (శ్రీకృష్ణుడు) మరియు దానవుడు మయుడు—ఈ ముగ్గురూ భక్తితో ఆయనకు ప్రదక్షిణ చేశారు. ఆపై వారు ముగ్గురూ యమునా నది యొక్క రమణీయ తీరానికి వెళ్లి కలిసి కూర్చున్నారు।
