द्रोण उवाच इमे मार्जारका: शुक्र नित्यमुद्रेजयन्ति न: । एतान् कुरुष्व दग्धांस्त्वं हुताशन सबान्धवान्,द्रोणने कहा--शुक्लस्वरूप अग्ने! ये बिलाव हमें प्रतिदिन उद्विग्न करते रहते हैं। हुताशन! आप इन्हें बन्धु-बान्धवोंसहित भस्म कर डालिये
droṇa uvāca | ime mārjārakāḥ śukra nityam udrejayanti naḥ | etān kuruṣva dagdhāṁs tvaṁ hutāśana sabāndhavān |
ద్రోణుడు పలికెను—హే శుక్లవర్ణ, దీప్తిమంతుడైన అగ్నీ! ఈ పిల్లులు నిత్యము మమ్మల్ని కలవరపెడుతున్నవి. హే హుతాశన! వీరిని వారి బంధువులతో కూడ భస్మము చేయుము.
