बभूव रूपमत्युग्रं सर्वभूतात्मनस्तदा । इस प्रकार पिशाच, नाग तथा राक्षसोंका संहार करनेवाले सर्वभूतात्मा भगवान् श्रीकृष्णका स्वरूप उस समय बड़ा भयंकर जान पड़ता था
babhūva rūpam atyugraṁ sarvabhūtātmanas tadā |
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఆ సమయంలో సర్వభూతాత్ముడైన భగవాన్ శ్రీకృష్ణుని రూపం అత్యంత ఉగ్రమై కనిపించెను. పిశాచ, నాగ, రాక్షసులను సంహరించే ఆ ప్రభువు స్వరూపం ఆ వేళ ఘోరంగా తోచెను॥
