अग्निभय-प्रसङ्गे मन्दपालस्य शोकः

एकं शतसहस्रेण सम्मितं राष्ट्रवर्धनम्‌ । चित्रमुच्चावचैर्वर्णै: शोभितं श्लक्ष्णममवत्रणम्‌

Transliteration

ekaṃ śatasahasreṇa sammitaṃ rāṣṭravardhanam | citram uccāvacair varṇaiḥ śobhitaṃ ślakṣṇam amavatraṇam ||

Translation

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఒక అద్భుత వస్తువు ఉండెను; దాని విలువ లక్ష సమానమని చెప్పబడెను, అది రాజ్యసంపదను వర్ధింపజేసేది. అది నానావర్ణాల విచిత్ర అలంకారాలతో శోభిల్లి, కాంతిమంతమై, స్పర్శకు మృదువుగా, కవచంతో కూడి ఉండెను.
