Chapter 213
तदिदं द्रौपदीहेतोरन्योन्यस्य प्रवासनम्,अतः आपके बड़े भाईने वहाँ धर्मकी रक्षाके लिये केवल द्रौपदीको निमित्त बनाकर यह एक-दूसरेके प्रवासका नियम बनाया है। यहाँ आपका धर्म दूषित नहीं होता। विशाल नेत्रोंवाले अर्जुन! आपको आर्त प्राणियोंकी रक्षा करनी चाहिये
tad idaṃ draupadī-hetor anyonyasya pravāsanam | ataḥ āpake baṛe bhrātāne tatra dharmasya rakṣāyai kevalaṃ draupadīṃ nimittaṃ kṛtvā idaṃ paraspara-pravāsa-niyamaṃ kṛtaḥ | atra tava dharmo dūṣito na bhavati | viśāla-netra arjuna! tvayā ārta-prāṇināṃ rakṣā kartavyā |
ఈ పరస్పర ప్రవాస నియమం ద్రౌపది కారణంగా ఏర్పడింది. అందువల్ల ధర్మరక్షణార్థం జ్యేష్ఠుడు ద్రౌపదిని కేవలం నిమిత్తంగా చేసుకొని ఈ పరస్పర ప్రవాస విధానాన్ని స్థాపించాడు. ఇందులో నీ ధర్మం కలుషితం కాదు. విశాలనేత్రుడైన అర్జునా, ఆర్త ప్రాణుల రక్షణ నీవే చేయవలెను।
