परस्पर वर्तमानान्‌ ट्रुपदस्यात्मजां प्रति । यो नोअ्नुप्रविशेन्‍्मोहात्‌ स वै द्वादशवार्षिकम्‌

Transliteration

paraspara-vartamānān trupadasyātmajāṃ prati | yo no 'nupraviśen mohāt sa vai dvādaśa-vārṣikam ||

Translation

అర్జునుడు అన్నాడు— త్రుపదుని కుమార్తె విషయములో మేము క్రమంగా పరస్పరం పాళ్లుగా ఉంటాము; ఎవడు మోహవశాత్తు మరొకరి నియతకాలంలో ప్రవేశిస్తాడో, అతడు తప్పక పన్నెండు సంవత్సరాల శిక్షగా ప్రవాసం అనుభవించాలి।
