tejasā ca sudṛṣṭāṁ tvāṁ na kariṣyati kaścana | evaṁ tasyai varaṁ dattvā sarvalokapitāmahaḥ ||
The verse highlights how divine endowments—radiance (tejas) and beauty—shape social response and destiny: when a boon is granted, its effects manifest in how others perceive and treat the recipient, underscoring the moral weight and consequence of blessings bestowed by higher powers.
Nārada reports that Brahmā (the Grandsire of all worlds) grants a boon to a woman, assuring that because of her splendor and exceptional beauty, no one will be able to ignore or slight her; the verse closes by noting that Brahmā has thus given her the boon.
