देवसत्रे मृत्युनिरोधः, पूर्वेन्द्राणां मानुषावतरणम्, द्रौपदी-वरकथनम्

आत्मप्रच्छादनार्थ वै बाहुवीर्यमुपाश्रित: । विप्ररूप॑ विधायेदं मन्ये मां प्रतियुध्यसे,मैं समझता हूँ, आप इन्हींमेंसे कोई हैं और अपने स्वरूपको छिपानेके लिये यह ब्राह्मणवेष धारण करके बाहुबलका आश्रय ले मेरे साथ युद्ध कर रहे हैं

ātmapracchādanārthaṃ vai bāhuvīryam upāśritaḥ | viprarūpaṃ vidhāyedam manye māṃ pratiyudhyase ||

నీ నిజ స్వరూపాన్ని దాచుకోవడానికి భుజబలాన్ని ఆశ్రయించి ఈ బ్రాహ్మణవేషం ధరించి నాతో యుద్ధం చేస్తున్నావని నేను భావిస్తున్నాను।
