द्रौपदी-स्वयंवर-प्रारम्भः
Commencement of Draupadī’s Svayaṃvara
यस्मादसदृश: शाप: प्रयुक्तोडयं मयि त्वया । तस्मात् त्वत्त: प्रवर्तिष्ये खादितुं पुरुषानहम्,“चूँकि तुमने मुझे यह सर्वथा अयोग्य शाप दिया है, अतः अब मैं तुम्हींसे मनुष्योंका भक्षण आरम्भ करूँगा”
yasmād asadṛśaḥ śāpaḥ prayukto ’yaṃ mayi tvayā | tasmāt tvattaḥ pravartiṣye khādituṃ puruṣān aham ||
“నాపై నీవు అసంబద్ధమైన శాపాన్ని ప్రయోగించావు; అందుచేత నేను మనుష్యులను భక్షించడం నీ నుంచే ప్రారంభిస్తాను.”
