ततस्तप्तुमथारेभे पत्यर्थमसुखा ततः । तोषयामास तपसा सा किलोग्रेण शंकरम्,तब पतिके लिये दुःखी होकर उसने तपस्या प्रारम्भ की और कहते हैं उग्र तपस्याके द्वारा उसने भगवान् शंकरको प्रसन्न कर लिया
tatas taptum athārebhe paty-artham asukhā tataḥ | toṣayāmāsa tapasā sā kilogreṇa śaṅkaram ||
అప్పుడు భర్తను కోరుతూ దుఃఖితురాలై ఆమె తపస్సు ప్రారంభించింది; మరియు అంటారు—ఉగ్ర తపస్సుతో ఆమె భగవాన్ శంకరుని ప్రసన్నం చేసుకుంది.
