सम्प्रह्ृष्टमना द्रोणो रामात् परमसम्मतम् । ब्रह्मास्त्रं समनुप्राप्य नरेष्वभ्यधिको5भवत्,उन्होंने परशुरामजीसे प्रसन्नचित्त होकर परम सम्मानित ब्रह्मास्त्रका ज्ञान प्राप्त किया और मनुष्योंमें सबसे बढ़-चढ़कर हो गये
samprahṛṣṭamanā droṇo rāmāt paramasammataḥ | brahmāstraṃ samanupprāpya nareṣv abhyadhiko 'bhavat ||
హర్షభరిత మనస్సుతో ద్రోణుడు, రాముడు (పరశురాముడు) ఇచ్చిన పరమ గౌరవంతో, బ్రహ్మాస్త్ర జ్ఞానాన్ని పొందాడు; దానిని పొందిన తరువాత అతడు మనుష్యులలో అత్యుత్తముడయ్యాడు.
