बक-राक्षसस्य आह्वानम् तथा वृक्षयुद्धम्

Summons of Baka and the Tree-Weapon Engagement

स तत्र पीत्वा पानीयं स्नात्वा च भरतर्षभ । तेषामर्थे च जग्राह भ्रातृणां भ्रातृवत्सल: । उत्तरीयेण पानीयमानयामास भारत,भरतश्रेष्ठ! वहाँ पानी पीकर स्नान कर लेनेके पश्चात्‌ भाइयोंपर स्नेह रखनेवाले भीम उनके लिये भी चादरमें पानी ले आये

sa tatra pītvā pānīyaṃ snātvā ca bharatarṣabha | teṣām arthe ca jagrāha bhrātṝṇāṃ bhrātṛvatsalaḥ || uttarīyeṇa pānīyam ānayāmāsa bhārata ||

ఓ భరతశ్రేష్ఠా! అక్కడ నీరు త్రాగి స్నానం చేసిన తరువాత, సోదరులపై అపార స్నేహమున్న భీముడు వారి కోసం కూడా నీటిని తీసుకొని, తన ఉత్తరీయములో మోసుకొని తెచ్చెను.
