ततो विततथन््वानं द्रोणस्तं कुरुनन्दनम् । स मुहूर्तादुवाचेदं वचन भरतर्षभ,भरतश्रेष्ठ] तब धनुष तानकर खड़े हुए कुरुनन्दन युधिष्ठिरसे दो घड़ी बाद आचार्य द्रोणने इस प्रकार कहा--
tato vitatadhanvānaṃ droṇas taṃ kurunandanam | sa muhūrtād uvācedaṃ vacanaṃ bharatarṣabha ||
అప్పుడు పూర్తిగా ధనుస్సు తానిన కురు-నందనుని చూసి ద్రోణుడు కొద్దిసేపటి తరువాత, ఓ భరతశ్రేష్ఠా, ఈ విధంగా పలికెను।
