धनुश्व हि शरास्तस्य कराभ्यामपतन्‌ भुवि । वेपथुश्नापि तां दृष्टवा शरीरे समजायत,उनके हाथोंसे धनुष और बाण छूटकर पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़े तथा उसकी ओर देखनेसे उनके शरीरमें कम्प हो आया

dhanuś ca hi śarāś tasya karābhyām apatan bhuvi | vepathuś cāpi tāṃ dṛṣṭvā śarīre samajāyata ||

ఆమెను చూచిన క్షణమే అతని చేతుల నుంచి ధనుస్సు, బాణాలు జారి నేలపై పడిపోయాయి; అతని శరీరమంతటా వణుకు పుట్టింది.
