बभूव परमो हर्ष: शतशृड्शनिवासिनाम् | तथा देवनिकायानां सेन्द्राणां च दिवौकसाम्,कुन्तीने सौरीमेंसे ही यह अत्यन्त अद्भुत बात सुनी। उच्चस्वरमें उच्चारित वह आकाशवाणी सुनकर शतशुंगनिवासी तपस्वी मुनियों तथा विमानोंपर स्थित इन्द्र आदि देवसमूहोंको बड़ा हर्ष हुआ
babhūva paramo harṣaḥ śataśṛṅganivāsinām | tathā devanikāyānāṃ sendrāṇāṃ ca divaukasām |
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—శతశృంగ నివాసి తపస్వి మునులలో పరమ హర్షము కలిగెను. అలాగే స్వర్గమందు నివసించు ఇంద్రునితో కూడిన దేవగణములకును మహానందము ఉద్భవించెను. ఆ అద్భుతమైన ఆకాశవాణిని విని, లోకధర్మమే స్థిరపడినట్లు భావించి వారు ఉల్లసించిరి।
