Droṇa–Drupada Saṃvāda and Droṇa’s Reception at the Kuru Court (द्रोण-द्रुपद-संवादः; कुरुनगरप्रवेशः)

पाण्डुरुवाच एवमेतत्‌ पुरा कुन्ति व्युषिताश्वश्चकार ह | यथा त्वयोक्तं कल्याणि स ह्वासीदमरोपम:,पाण्डु बोले--कुन्ती! तुम्हारा कहना ठीक है। पूर्वकालमें राजा व्युषिताश्वने जैसा तुमने कहा है, वैसा ही किया था। कल्याणी! वे देवताओंके समान तेजस्वी थे

Pāṇḍur uvāca: evam etat purā Kunti vyuṣitāśvaś cakāra ha | yathā tvayoktaṃ kalyāṇi sa hvāsīd amaropamaḥ ||

పాండువు పలికెను—కుంతీ! నిజమే. పూర్వకాలంలో రాజు వ్యుషితాశ్వుడు నీవు చెప్పినట్లే ఆచరించాడు. కల్యాణీ! అతడు దేవతలవలె తేజస్సుతో ఉన్నవాడు.
