Educational Q&A

Speech and action should be aligned with dharma; the king’s counsel is presented as ethically grounded, emphasizing righteous intention and proper conduct even in sensitive family matters.

After Kuntī speaks, King Pāṇḍu responds again with a dharma-based instruction. This sets up the next step in the story where Kuntī is directed toward a sanctioned means of obtaining offspring.
