एवमुक्ता तु सा देवी तथा चक्रे पतिव्रता । यथोक्तमेव तद्वाक्यं भद्रा पुत्रार्थिनी तदा,आकाशवाणीके यों कहनेपर पुत्रकी इच्छा रखनेवाली पतिव्रता भद्रादेवीने पतिकी पूर्वोक्त आज्ञाका अक्षरश: पालन किया
evamuktā tu sā devī tathā cakre pativratā | yathoktam eva tad vākyaṃ bhadrā putrārthinī tadā ||
అలా చెప్పబడిన ఆ దేవి, పతివ్రతగా, అలాగే చేసింది. ఆ సమయంలో పుత్రార్థిని అయిన భద్ర, భర్త చెప్పిన మాటను యథాతథంగా అనుసరించింది.
