भीष्मस्य चास्य वचनान्नियोगाच्च ममानघ । अनुक्रोशाच्च भूतानां सर्वेषां रक्षणाय च

Transliteration

bhīṣmasya cāsya vacanān niyogāc ca mamānagha | anukrośāc ca bhūtānāṃ sarveṣāṃ rakṣaṇāya ca ||

Translation

ఓ నిర్దోషీ! భీష్ముని వాక్యానికి విధేయతగా, నా నియోగానుసారంగా, అలాగే సమస్త జీవులపై కరుణతో మరియు అందరి రక్షణార్థం ఈ కార్యం చేయబడింది.
