स देवराजसदृशो धर्मज्ञ: सत्यवागृजु: । दानधर्मतपोयोगाच्छ़िया परमया युतः,वे देवराज इन्द्रके समान पराक्रमी, धर्मज्ञ, सत्यवादी तथा सरल थे। दान, धर्म और तपस्या तीनोंके योगसे उनमें दिव्य कान्तिकी वृद्धि हो रही थी
sa devarājasadṛśo dharmajñaḥ satyavāg ṛjuḥ | dānadharmatapoyogāc chriyā paramayā yutaḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు చెప్పెను—ఆయన దేవరాజు ఇంద్రుని సమానుడు; ధర్మజ్ఞుడు, సత్యవాది, సరళ స్వభావుడు. దానం, ధర్మం, తపస్సు—ఈ మూడింటి యోగబలంతో పరమశ్రీతో యుక్తుడై, ఆయన దివ్య కాంతి నిరంతరం వృద్ధి చెందుచుండెను।
