अहं त्वचक्षु: कार्पण्यात्‌ पुत्रप्रीत्या सहामि तत्‌ | मुहान्तं चानुमुह्यामि दुर्योधनमचेतनम्‌,मैं अंधा हूँ, अतः कुछ दीनताके कारण और कुछ पुत्रोंके प्रति अधिक आसक्ति होनेसे भी वह सब अन्याय सहता आ रहा हूँ। मन्दबुद्धि दुर्योधन जब मोहवश दुःखी होता था, तब मैं भी उसके साथ दुःखी हो जाता था

Transliteration

ahaṃ tvacakṣuḥ kārpaṇyāt putraprītyā sahāmi tat | muhāntaṃ cānumuhyāmi duryodhanam acetanam ||

Translation

నేను అంధుడను; అందువల్ల కొంత దైన్యంతో, కొంత కుమారప్రేమంతో, ఆ అన్యాయాన్ని నేను భరించుతూ వచ్చాను. మోహగ్రస్తుడై అచేతనుడైన దుర్యోధనుడు వ్యాకులపడినప్పుడు, నేనూ అతనితో పాటు వ్యాకులమయ్యేవాడిని.
