ततोडन््येभ्यो5नुरूपेभ्य: शिष्येभ्य: प्रददौ विभु: । षष्टिं शतसहस््राणि चकारान्यां स संहिताम्,तदनन्तर उन्होंने दूसरे-दूसरे सुयोग्य (अधिकारी एवं अनुगत) शिष्योंको इसका उपदेश दिया। तत्पश्चात् भगवान् व्यासने साठ लाख श्लोकोंकी एक दूसरी संहिता बनायी
