Adhyaya 87 — Saṃsāra-viṣa-kathana: Ājñā-śakti, Māyā-bandha, and Mokṣa by Prasāda
भवानी च तमालोक्य मायामहरदव्यया ते मायामलनिर्मुक्ता मुनयः प्रेक्ष्य पार्वतीम्
bhavānī ca tamālokya māyāmaharadavyayā te māyāmalanirmuktā munayaḥ prekṣya pārvatīm
భవానీ ఆయనను దర్శించి తన అవ్యయ మాయను ఉపసంహరించింది. అప్పుడు మాయామలము నుండి విముక్తులైన మునులు పార్వతీదేవిని స్పష్టంగా దర్శించారు.

It highlights that true darśana (spiritual vision) arises only when Māyā’s veil is withdrawn; Linga-worship is meant to purify the pashu (soul) from pasha (bondage) so the Divine is seen as it is.
By implication, Shiva-tattva is beyond Māyā; when Shakti retracts the veiling power, the sages’ Māyā-born impurity falls away, enabling right perception of the Divine order centered on Pati (the Lord).
The takeaway is inner purification (mala-kṣaya) leading to clear perception—aligned with Pāśupata-oriented discipline where bondage (Māyā/pāśa) is attenuated through devotion, austerity, and right knowledge.
