व्यपोहनस्तवनिरूपण-प्रसङ्गे नक्तभोजन-शिवव्रतविधिः (वार्षिक-प्रतिमास-क्रमः)

तानि व्यासादुपश्रुत्य युष्माकं प्रवदाम्यहम् अष्टम्यां च चतुर्दश्यां पक्षयोरुभयोरपि

tāni vyāsādupaśrutya yuṣmākaṃ pravadāmyaham aṣṭamyāṃ ca caturdaśyāṃ pakṣayorubhayorapi

వ्यासుని నుండి అవి వినిన నేను మీకు చెబుతున్నాను—అష్టమి మరియు చతుర్దశి తిథులలో, శుక్ల-కృష్ణ రెండు పక్షాలలోను, ఈ వ్రతాలు ఆచరించవలెను।
