Materials, Classes, and Fruits of Linga-Worship
शैलजं रत्नजं वापि धातुजं वापि दारुजम् मृन्मयं क्षणिकं त्यक्त्वा स्थापयेत्सकलं वपुः
śailajaṃ ratnajaṃ vāpi dhātujaṃ vāpi dārujam mṛnmayaṃ kṣaṇikaṃ tyaktvā sthāpayetsakalaṃ vapuḥ
రాయి, రత్నం, లోహం లేదా చెక్కతో చేసిన (లింగం) ఏదైనా కావచ్చు—నశ్వరమైన మట్టితో చేసిన క్షణిక లింగాన్ని విడిచి, పూజార్థం ప్రభువின் ‘సకల వపు’ అంటే సాకార సంపూర్ణ రూపాన్ని స్థాపించాలి।
