ग्रहसंख्यावर्णनम् — ध्रुवस्य तपोबलात् ध्रुवस्थानप्राप्तिः
अवाप महतीं सिद्धिम् एतत्ते कथितं मया
avāpa mahatīṃ siddhim etatte kathitaṃ mayā
అతడు మహాసిద్ధిని పొందెను; ఇదంతా నేను నీకు చెప్పితిని।
Suta Goswami (narrating the result of the teaching within the Purana’s discourse)
It emphasizes the phala (result) of Shiva-oriented practice: through devotion and right observance centered on Śiva/Liṅga, one attains “mahatī siddhi,” i.e., a decisive spiritual accomplishment rather than mere worldly gain.
By highlighting the attainment of siddhi as the outcome of the teaching, it implies Śiva as Pati—the supreme bestower of anugraha (grace) by which the paśu can overcome pāśa and mature into realization.
The verse is a concluding-result statement: it points to the efficacy of Śaiva sādhana (Liṅga-pūjā, vrata, japa, and Pāśupata-aligned discipline) as the means leading to siddhi.
